CLIENT & SUPPORT WORKER

ANNUAL REVIEW

2021 Annual Review

As part of our annual review we conducted a survey of our support workers (Staff Survey) and also our clients/parents (Friends, Relatives and Advocates).

Based on the five key lines of enquiry (Kloes) they were asked to rate MSP Case Management on how our safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they find our service.

We had a response from 40% of staff and 30% of parents. Due to Covid the survey was postal. Going forward we will endeavour to have face to face meetings with parents.

The overall results from both categories placed our company in a range between good and outstanding.

No areas of concern were highlighted.

We will continue to monitor and improve our service through staff supervisions and appraisals, internal audits, client reviews and team meetings.

2022 Annual Review

Following last year’s postal survey of staff and parents we have now been able to conduct face to face reviews with parents/guardians of our clients and all feedback has been very positive. This is an ongoing commitment to ensure we are providing the best service we are able to.

We were expecting an inspection from CQC but due to their workload they elected to conduct an interim, in-depth virtual meeting with Marylka and Emily. Whilst we were disappointed they didn’t manage to come out and see the hard work we have put into our systems it was reassuring that they felt we were operating in a manner which didn’t necessitate immediate inspection.

We continue to expand as a company and have taken on 2 new case managers (Sarah and Emma) and an additional member of our admin team (Vicky). We now case manage around 50 clients.

2023 Annual Review

We are now a team of 5 case managers (Marylka, Karen, Jade, Emma and Sarah). Lorraine retired mid year and we wish her well.

We have Bev and Vicky in admin, and Emily overseeing admin and support worker manager.

We still have not been inspected by CQC, which is frustrating as we have been registered since the end of 2020.

We continue to receive referrals and are now bringing on board 2 new case managers to give us the extra capacity.

We continue to develop and refine our practices and systems to provide the best possible service for our clients.

Most of our supported clients are now on an app based support notes recording system which has been well received by support staff and parents.
